And so to the Sunday, the gathering of the clan maxwell. An early morning dander in the stormont park with the dog, and lovely parliament it is too, before the arrival of Laura's twin sisters (spouses (children)) Lois (Gary (David and Peter) and Roslyn (Johnny (Sam and Stuart)).
Once again all were happy enough to meet me, but enchanted with a large black dug with the singular exception of the two and a bit year old Peter who was confused by a Laura he kinda recognised, disinterested in his beardy namesake with a funny accent and terrified by a dog two to three times his size.
There then followed a rolling buffet marathon in which we all made a sterling effort to consume the food mountain laid on. Poor Garth will be having roast beef sandwiches for tea for the remainder of the summer
